Boo the Rangers!

7 comments:

  1. Nothing greater than wheeling out Erik Christensen, P.A. Parenteau, and Olli Jokinen for your shootout. Make that a big "fail" for Tortorella, Jokinen, and the NHL for a key game being decided via the shootout.

  2. Tortorella's all talk. He's a big mouth with no decision-making talent or strategy to back it up.

  3. Boo the Wrap-Around, too, by the way. Don't blame the shootout for costing the Blueshirts their season and letting the Universal Scumbag Flyers into the playoffs.

I am looking forward to Chris Pronger getting suspended at least once before Philly is ousted, though. It will be a fitting end to his utterly lackluster season that Philadelphia fans have nonetheless trumpeted as the greatest performance since Moses and the Red Sea.

  4. You're right, I can't blame the shootout. As Dave at BSB pointed out, under the old format the Rangers would be out if the game ended in a tie. So really, boo the Rangers for wasting another of Lundqvist's good years.

Yeah finishing 5th in points among all defensemen is truely a disgrace. Pronger should be ashamed of himself.

  6. I've said it before - and I'll no doubt say it again - Chris Pronger's success with the Flyers will not be measured by his point production. A) He is a defensman, and B) the Flyers had 6 25-goal scorers on their team going into the 09-10 season.

Pronger was not brought to The City of Brotherly Shove for his offensive prowess. He was brought in to decapitate Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and Alexander Ovechkin. Short of that, his time in the Orange & Black is entirely wasted.

  7. Let's be reasonable...anybody who watched the Flyers has to admit Pronger can be an absolute klutz and pylon at times.
